We are excited to announce the upcoming release of Islam and Pseudoscience, a groundbreaking new book by Stefano Bigliardi, published by Cambridge University Press.
This important work is part of the prestigious "Islam and the Sciences" series, which Stefano co-edits alongside Professor Nidhal Guessoum from the American University of Sharjah. The book critically explores the complex relationship between Islam and pseudoscientific claims, shedding light on contemporary challenges and discussions at the intersection of faith and science.
Originally scheduled for publication on August 1st, the book will soon be available online—and for a limited time, accessible for free for one month. This offers an excellent opportunity for scholars, students, and anyone interested in the subject to engage with Stefano’s research.
Stefano Bigliardi wrote the book during a sabbatical period generously supported by the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) Chris at Al Akhawayn University (AUI). He specifically wished to ensure that VPAA Chris received this announcement before the end of his service at AUI. The book is dedicated to Stefano’s students at AUI, reflecting his commitment to education and academic inquiry.
