Al Akhawayn University (AUI), founded in 1993 by Royal Decree and opened in 1995 in Ifrane, Morocco, is an independent, public, not-for-profit institution. Inspired by the American liberal arts and sciences model, AUI offers a multidisciplinary education that encourages critical thinking, ethical leadership, creativity, and adaptability. All programs are delivered in English and aim to prepare globally minded citizen-leaders.
