The Global Spring Fair is in full swing at Al Akhawayn University, and Wednesday, April 16, is packed with events that highlight the diversity, intellect, and creativity of the AUI community.
Student Debates Go Global
All day long, students from AUI and international partner institutions will take part in online debates covering timely topics like artificial intelligence in education, the impact of fine arts, cryptocurrency, and the role of intercultural understanding in global conflicts. These discussions aren’t just academic—they reflect the kind of global thinking and exchange AUI encourages.
Student Research Takes the Stage :
From 3 to 7 p.m. in the Event Room, the Student Undergraduate Research Council (SURC) will host its Discovery Evening. This is an opportunity for students to present research with international or global themes. Whether you're a presenter or attendee, it's a space to explore ideas, share findings, and connect with peers across disciplines. Students interested in showcasing their work can still apply to participate.
To wrap up the day, the International Student Network (ISN) invites everyone to Room 8B1 at 7:30 p.m. for a relaxed evening of music and trivia. Whether you're competing solo, joining a team, or just there to enjoy the vibes, it’s a great chance to unwind and connect with fellow students in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The Global Spring Fair continues to celebrate what makes AUI unique—its commitment to international dialogue, academic curiosity, and vibrant student life.
