Al Akhawayn University in Morocco (AUI) to Host the 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Security and Networking (CAISN’26)

The international conference will bring researchers and experts to Al Akhawayn University on November 26–27, 2026, offering faculty and students opportunities to present their research and contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI) will co-organize and host the 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Security and Networking (CAISN’26) on its campus on November 26–27, 2026. Co-organized with Ibn Tofail University and co-funded by AfreTec, the conference aims to foster academic exchange and strengthen research collaboration in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, networking, and related fields.

The conference represents an important opportunity for AUI faculty and students to showcase their research, engage with the international scientific community, and explore emerging developments in technology. Accepted and presented papers are expected to be published in Springer proceedings and indexed in Scopus, subject to the applicable publication and indexing conditions.

Supporting AI Research and Student Innovation at AUI

As artificial intelligence continues to shape research, education, and industry, CAISN’26 aligns with AUI’s strategic priority of advancing AI research and strengthening student engagement in this rapidly evolving field.

The conference also offers an opportunity to further develop faculty–student research collaborations by transforming undergraduate capstone projects, research assignments, innovative coursework, and ongoing research initiatives into potential scientific publications.

Through this initiative, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to present their work at an international conference hosted on their own campus, alongside researchers from other institutions. This experience can help them develop their research skills, gain exposure to academic publishing, and contribute to the broader scientific community.

Dedicated Opportunities for AUI Faculty and Students

To encourage participation from the AUI community, special arrangements have been made for university faculty and students, including:

  • Extended submission deadline: AUI faculty and students may submit their manuscripts until October 25, 2026.
  • Registration fee waivers: Waivers will be offered to selected AUI participants.
  • Publication opportunities: Accepted and presented papers may be included in Springer conference proceedings, with Scopus indexing subject to the conference’s publication and indexing conditions.

The conference welcomes research contributions in several areas, including artificial intelligence and computer vision, cybersecurity and blockchain, robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and big data, digital education, and emerging technologies.

Call for Research Contributions

AUI faculty members, particularly those working in artificial intelligence and related disciplines, are encouraged to involve undergraduate students in research projects and consider submitting their findings to CAISN’26. The initiative provides a platform to strengthen research collaboration, promote student innovation, and highlight the university’s growing engagement with emerging technologies.
