Understanding Sport Psychology
Sport Psychology is a scientific field that explores how mental and emotional factors influence athletic performance, physical activity, and overall well-being. It also examines how participation in sports contributes to psychological development, resilience, and personal growth.
In today’s competitive and fast-evolving sports environment, psychological dimensions are no longer optional—they are essential. Athletes’ performance, recovery from injury, and long-term engagement in sports are deeply connected to their mental state. Yet, despite its proven impact, Sport Psychology remains relatively underdeveloped and underutilized in many contexts, particularly in Morocco and across the region.
A Strategic and Timely Initiative
This conference aims to address that gap by creating a platform for awareness, knowledge sharing, and practical application. It brings together experts, practitioners, educators, students, and athletes to explore how psychological approaches can enhance both performance and well-being in sports.
More broadly, the initiative aligns with AUI’s mission to foster innovation, critical thinking, and societal impact by tackling real-world challenges through academic and professional collaboration. Remove
