SHSS - Fundamentals of Academic Success

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco seeks qualified applicants to fill several full-time faculty positions in the University’s Fundamentals of Academic Success program. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their ability to teach First-Year students strategic academic skills and introduction to critical thinking. An M.A. in any Humanities or Social Science field is the minimally required credential. Appointment will be at the Lecturer or Assistant Professor level depending on individual credintials and experience. Evidence of willingness to fulfill faculty service expectations to SHSS and to the University are also required. As AUI is a liberal arts institution, students come from a variety of disciplines and majors across the University.

Short-listed candidates will be invited to interview on Microsoft Teams and may be invited to offer a 30- minute demonstration class pending results of the initial interview. The successful candidate will be expected to assume this position on 21 August 2023.
