Al Akhawayn University mourns the passing of Princess Lalla Latifa, mother of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May Allah protect him and direct his steps. Princess Lalla Latifa was the widow of late King Hassan II, the founder of Al Akhawayn University, May Allah bless his soul.
Princess Lalla Latifa honored our University with a visit to our campus in 2021.
The University's Board of Trustees, President, faculty, staff and students express their most heartfelt condolences to His Majesty the King, to Crown Prince HRH Moulay Hassan, to HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and to the entire Royal Family.
