Khawla Akassri

Khawla Akassri is a Lecturer in the Language Center at AUI. She received a bachelor’s degree in English studies from SMBAU and a Master’s degree in Applied Language Studies and Research in Higher Education in the same university. She also has a CELTA (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Currently, she is preparing her PhD on educational leaders’ and instructors’ role in improving quality in higher Education. Khawla is also engaged in different research endeavors that are related to English Language Teaching, Educational Leadership, and Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Driven by her dedication to improve the quality of the institution and the language Center, Khawla is highly passionate about teaching exceptional students at AUI’s Language Center, as she is committed to facilitate and help them transition and integrate into higher education. Her objective is to broaden her students’ horizons and foster curiosity, autonomy, and innovation.
