Dr. Zoubida SAMLAL holds a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree from the Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion de Settat, specializing in Corporate Governance and Financial Management. Dr. Samlal is an accredited financial advisor by the Central Bank of Bahrain and Dubai International Financial Center.
Dr. Samlal has an extensive experience as a senior investment banker and international consultant. With over 20 years' experience, she worked with top tier financial institutions in Europe and Middle East. She is a former VP of Merger and Acquisition with Société Générale France and UK and a SVP of Business Development with Gulf Investment Bank in Bahrain.
Since 2013, she continues to work closely with the financial industry and has acted as an executive consultant and financial advisor to a number of companies from the Middle East and Europe. Dr. Samlal is currently sitting on the Advisory board of Africa without Board Foundation and DCG Holding in Netherlands.
