Like other similar Liberal Arts institutions, AUI has designed its different degree programs with some flexibility in mind, thus offering its students a wealth of enriching academic opportunities. 

In addition to the Gen Ed courses that all AUI students take, and in addition to the courses in their own majors, students at AUI can widen their horizons and choose a minor from their own school or even from a different school, can opt to take electives from a constantly growing body of courses, can enroll in the University Honors program, the Undergraduate Research Program, Study Abroad programs, etc.

They can also choose to enrich their language skills by taking electives in different foreign languages offered by the Language Center of the University.  French, Spanish, and Korean are currently on offer; other languages will be added to this list in the near future.
