In honor of the Amazigh Year of 2974, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Al Akhawayn University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Letters and Humanities at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Saiss, proudly presents a captivating study day entitled: "Cultural Heritage and Artistic Creativity in the Amazigh Language through Celebrations: The Amazigh New Year as an Example." Scheduled for February 20, 2024, the event promises a rich exploration of Amazigh culture and traditions through lectures.
The topics range from public policies and sustainable development to the role of civil society in cultural preservation will be addressed. The event will culminate in a vibrant closing ceremony featuring an authentic Amazigh Couscous meal, mesmerizing Ahidous performances, and the presentation of the "Lucky of the Year" gift, creating a festive atmosphere filled with joy and cultural appreciation.
