Dr. Abderrahman Hassi is an Associate Professor of Management at Al Akhawayn University, Morocco. He previously taught at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada. He also served as a visiting professor of Management at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany. Dr. Hassi holds a Ph.D. from the University of Laval, a Master’s degree from University of Quebec, and an undergraduate degree from HEC Montréal, Canada. Dr. Hassi’s research interests straddle leadership, innovation management, cross-cultural management, and case study method. He is the founder and Editor-in-chief of the MENA Journal of Cross-Cultural Management and the co-founder of the Al Akhawayn Business Research Center. He served as a research fellow at CUNEF University, Spain. Dr. Hassi is a co-researcher on large-scale programs for research and innovation sponsored by the European Commission. Dr. Hassi’s research has appeared in Management & Organization Review, Cross-Cultural & Strategic Management, International Labour Review, and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, among others. Additionally, Dr. Hassi has provided consulting services in business management to various organizations such as Pearson Education (UK), Public Service Canada, and Intel Corporation (USA). Dr. Hassi is the winner of several national and international awards in teaching, research, and service.
