Ahmed Bada

Ahmed’s first teaching post overseas was at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, (1994 – 1996 ) teaching English to first year students. He returned to the UK and had a teaching job at a Language School. In 1998, he joined Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, where he spent twenty three years teaching and advising pre-major students. He is now at Al Akhawayn University, teaching Strategic Academic Skills and Critical Thinking in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. His main interests are academic advising, student development, and student success. He is credentialed to teach Study Skills, English Composition, General English, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Ahmed has attended TESOL Arabia, First Year Experience conferences, and university Professional Development Workshops at Zayed University, and currently at Al Akhawayn University.
