Dr. Gursel ilipinar obtained his bachelors degree in economics from the University of Istanbul (Turkey), his MBA in Marketing & Information Systems from Georgia State University (USA), and his PhD in Marketing from ESADE Business School (Spain). He has extensive work experience in the services sector, particularly in education, telecom, insurance, and banking. Dr. Ilipinar is specialized in luxury fashion branding, design, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He teaches brand management, services marketing, digital marketing, and international marketing. His research revolves around design thinking and design-oriented companies with a concentration on the interface between branding and design.
