Hafid Tlemçani-Mekaoui

Hafid Tlemçani Mekaoui has been a lecturer at the Language Center of Al Akhawayn University since its inception in 1995. He holds a master’s degree (Candidatus Philologiae) in English literature from the Blindern University of Oslo, Norway (1992). He has taught and coordinated all the language skills at the center and has worked on curriculum development throughout the years. He also served as the center’s testing coordinator for many years. Additionally, he was a member of several committees, both center-specific and university-wide (Writing across Curriculum, Center for Learning Technologies, Faculty Search, Faculty Evaluation, Faculty Affairs Committee, Academic Advisory Council). Before joining AUI, he was an assistant professor at the English Department of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University of Fes, Morocco. His interests include E-Learning, English for business, and integrating music in language teaching.
