Dr. Ali has been with the SBA at AUI since 2021. In 2020, Dr. Ali earned his Ph.D. degree in the field of Semantic Data Integration for Collaborative Intelligence at Western University, Canada. Dr. Ali is the author of the theory of intentionality in Knowledge Engineering. His areas of expertise and research interests include: Data Engineering, Data Analysis, Semantic Data Integration, AI, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Collaborative Intelligence, Big Data Analysis, Smart Cities, and Marketing Analytics. In order to bridge the gap between industry and academia, Dr. Ali took on several industries and academic assignments. With over 10 years of teaching experience, before joining the SBA at Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Dr. Ali taught with the Business and Information Systems Architecture Program at Fanshawe College, Canada, a program where Technology and Business meet. Dr. Ali has extensive and solid knowledge of Project Management. He also has very deep hands-on experience in Agile Software Development with over 15 years of experience in the software industry in various business areas. Dr. Ali is currently serving as the SBA graduate program coordinator.
