Khalid Sendide holds a Doctorate in Biotechnology from the University Mohammed Ben Abdellah in Fez, Morocco (USMBA) in 1995 and a Ph.D. in molecular immunology prepared at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada in 2004. Sendide worked as Assistant Professor at USMBA in 1996, at the School of Sciences and the School of Medicine. In 2006, he joined Al Akhawayn University where he currently is an Associate Professor. Sendide’s teaching interests are in molecular biotechnology, immunology, environmental biology and chemistry and evolution. Sendide’s research expertise is in Molecular Immunology, bioactive molecules applied to health and bio-industries, education and sustainable development. He supervised many masters and Ph.D students and patented and published his research in renowned journals. Sendide has also been coordinator of Science and Engineering programs at Al AKhawayn University from 2011-2015 and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs in charge of Research and Graduate Studies at the same University from 2015 to 2020.
