Office extension - (+212) 535-862-105Khalid Sendide holds a Doctorate in Biotechnology from the University USMBA, Morocco (1995) and a Ph.D. (Doctorat d'Etat) in molecular immunology from the same University, prepared at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada (2001- 2005). Sendide started his professional career as Assistant Professor at University Mohammed Ben Abdellah in Fez, and joined Al Akhawayn University in 2006 where he currently is a Full Professor. Sendide’s teaching interests are in molecular biotechnology and immunology, environmental biology and environmental chemistry.
Sendide’s research expertise is in the immunology infectious diseases, bio-industries, Education, and Sustainable Development. From the administrative side, Sendide has been coordinator of Science and Engineering programs at the school of Science and Engineering from 2011-2015. In 2016, he has been appointed Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs in charge of Graduate Studies and Research, a position that he occupied until 2021. He is currently the Associate Dean at the School of Science and Engineering. Sendide has a decent experience research projects and grants management, program and institutional accreditation, and strategic planning.
