Mahmoud Ahmed Awan

Dr. Mahmood Awan recently joined Al-Akhawayn. He earned his BS from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, his MBA from Alabama A & M in Huntsville, Alabama, and his Ph.D. from Northcentral University in Prescott Valley, Arizona. His Ph.D. is in Business Administration with a major in Internet Marketing. He also is a Chartered Marketer (CM) from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) of the U.K. As can be seen, he has been moving around for his education, which gave him a great appreciation for diversity. Before starting his academic career, he has been working with a number of multinational and other small firms in their Marketing departments, for around ten years in Southern California. Before joining SolBridge, he taught at University of Dubai for over twelve years and at SolBridge Business School, South Korea for over ten years. Some of the marketing courses which he has delivered both online and face-to-face include Internet Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Global Marketing, and International Marketing Strategies.
