Mr. Rachid Lghoul earned an M.S. Degree in Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energies from Mohammadia Engineering School at Rabat (2011) and a “Maîtrise” in electrical engineering from My Ismael Technical School, Errachidia Morocco. He is currently an engineering lecturer at the School of Science and Engineering at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane. He has worked as Part-time Embedded System Engineer in different projects for Telecom & Aeronautic industries. His area of expertise is on digital signal processing, FPGAs, microprocessors control, and automation. His current research interests are oriented towards smart grid, especially Micro grids aspects, including power electronics, distributed energy, storage systems, control, energy management systems, and energy optimization. His teaching interests include Innovative learning, Modelling, and Prototyping/Fabrication learning for Innovative STEAM education.
