Raifa Akkaoui

Dr. Raifa Akkaoui is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at AUI’s School of Science and Engineering. She received her Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China and her M.Eng. in computer networking and cybersecurity from L'Institut National des Postes et Télécommunications in Rabat, Morocco. She was also a postdoctoral researcher between 2021 and 2023 at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where she led a project focusing on the cybersecurity of distributed energy resources within residential areas.
