Wafa El Garah is Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS), Project Director of the Center for Business Ethics at AUI, and Fellow of the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). She served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at AUI, where she successfully led the university through the last stage of the NECHE Accreditation process. Prior to becoming VPAA, she served as Dean of the School of Business Administration for 5 years, where she led the school through EFMD reaccreditation of the BBA program. Professor El Garah served on the board of the EFMD for ten years and on the European Program Accreditation Committee for several years. Currently, she is member of several boards, including international advisory board of the University of Business and Technology, the Global Advisory Committee of QS Maple, the Executive Board of AMG (Association Marocaine de Gestion), and the EFMD Accreditation board. Prof. El Garah holds a Ph.D. in MIS from UCF and an MBA in Marketing and Management from UNT, USA. She has over 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. Prior to joining academia, she held several leadership roles in industry in the USA serving as Marketing Director.
