Al Akhawayn University proudly announces its outstanding performance in the first regional edition of Huawei's Seeds for the Future program, hosted in Essaouira.
This event was graced by distinguished guests including His Majesty the King's Advisor Mr. André Azoulay, Minister Leila Benali, UNESCO Maghreb Director Eric Falt, and Huawei Northern Africa Executive VP Jeremy Lin.
This high-profile event, welcoming 150 young talents from over 17 North, Central, and West African countries, saw AUI students Achraf Ouhdidou and Rania Jaafar emerge as winners, securing their place to represent the entire region at the global stage in China.
Achraf, a senior at AUI, is now receiving a competitive scholarship to study in the USA. Mr. Azoulay's statement that "Moroccan youth embody a nation that has successfully made diversity the driving force of its modernity" perfectly encapsulates AUI's ethos. By fostering such talent, AUI continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of Morocco and the MENA region.
