Under the leadership of AUI’s School of Science and Engineering (SSE) Dean Al-Majeed and AUI's E+E Chief Officer Deborah, AUI welcomed five high-ranking Capgemini executives to its campus for the grand kickoff of the Capgemini Laboratory. The weekend commenced with the mentoring of AUI SSE Capstone projects, followed by interviews with AUI engineering students to potentially collaborate on-campus for Capgemini projects. Finally, discussions were held with AUI faculty members to explore further avenues of collaboration.
This groundbreaking AUI Capgemini Laboratory marks a significant milestone for Morocco, where accomplished AUI Capgemini experts in AI and sustainability will join forces with AUI faculty and students to collaboratively shape future solutions that will redefine our world and influence tomorrow. The secure Laboratory is scheduled to open on the Main Campus this November, with an official inauguration ceremony attended by both the AUI President and Capgemini General Manager.
The dedication and excellence of AUI SSE students left a lasting impression on AUI Capgemini managers after their mentoring experience with AUI SSE Capstone Projects. As a result, these AUI managers eagerly extended invitations to these students to join the AUI Capgemini Laboratory for further mentorship. AUI Alumnus Badr Molato (SSE BS 2004 and MS 2006) shared his thoughts, saying, "We have been recruiting talent from AUI for Capgemini for years. This weekend, we were particularly impressed by the senior engineers' exceptional communication skills and their ability to innovate on critical engineering topics."
