It includes studies on the philosophy and anthropology of food by another ten international scholars.Stefano and Zineb contributed a chapter titled "Between Cheesy and Mystic: The Symbolic Role of Pizza in Mainstream Films.“ They discuss and interpret movies such as E.T. - The Extraterrestrial, Mystic Pizza, Do The Right Thing, and many others.
They also benefited from the help of AUI Professors Athina Tefsa-Yohannes, Richard Newman, and Arian Wildschut (copyediting).
Dr. Bigliardi comments: “It's wonderful to conduct research with students, to see our names and that of AUI in international academic publications, and to demonstrate that nothing escapes philosophical inquiry, not even pizza!”
