The International Network of Energy Transition and Renewable Generation Conference will take place on November 23–24, 2026, bringing together researchers and industry professionals to explore innovative solutions for a sustainable energy future.
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI) will co-organize the International Network of Energy Transition and Renewable Generation Conference (INERG’26), alongside the Green Digital Innovation Space, on November 23–24, 2026.
Held under the theme “Advancing Sustainable Energy through Innovation,” the conference will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share research findings, and explore innovative approaches to the global energy transition. The event will be organized in a hybrid format, enabling participants to attend both in person and online.
INERG’26 reflects the growing importance of interdisciplinary research and technological innovation in addressing energy-related challenges, promoting renewable generation, and developing more sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
Promoting Research Excellence and International Collaboration
The conference provides an opportunity for AUI faculty and students to present their research to an international audience, engage with researchers and industry practitioners, and strengthen their participation in the global scientific community.
Faculty members are encouraged to share the call for papers with their students and, where appropriate, support them in developing research projects and preparing submissions aligned with the conference themes. This initiative offers students an opportunity to gain valuable research experience, showcase their work, and contribute to discussions on sustainable energy and emerging technologies.
Accepted papers are scheduled for publication in the IET Conference Proceedings, with indexing in Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and Web of Science, subject to the applicable publication and indexing conditions.
