Following an incredible turnout for our first session, and as part of AUI’s ongoing efforts to strengthen students' research capabilities, the Student Undergraduate Research Council (SURC), in collaboration with the Office of Academic Research and the VPAA Office, is continuing its Research Capacity-Building Workshop Series with Session 2, scheduled for Wednesday, February 12th, at 15:30.
These sessions, led by experienced faculty, cover key research skills such as research design, literature reviews, and methodologies. They help enhance your academic profile, prepare you for research assistant roles, and strengthen your candidacy for graduate and post-graduate opportunities. Students who complete at least six sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Office of Academic Research at Al Akhawayn University.

Due to a high number of registrations, spaces are very limited, and students will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important Notes:
- Attendance from Session 1 has been recorded and counts toward the 6 required sessions needed for the Research Certification.
- Confirming attendance and not showing up will result in dismissal from future sessions.
