Abdelhamid Bennani Bouchiba is a Moroccan-British citizen who earned a master’s degree in marketing from London Metropolitan University in the UK. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Salento, Italy. Mr. Bennani has been a marketing lecturer at Akhawayn University, Morocco since 2011. He taught many courses in marketing, such as professional selling and sales techniques, advertising and promotion management, advanced marketing management, and consumer behavior in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs and MBA programs at the EEC Casablanca. He is currently a member of the SBA Strategic Planning Committee. Mr. Bennani worked previously as a marketing lecturer and module leader at the University of Sunderland Casa Off-Campus Centre for the British Cardiff Metropolitan University from 2009 to 2011. Overall, Mr. Bennani has 13 years’ academic experience and has more than 18 years industry experience in the marketing and management fields. He worked as manager at Henry the Eight Hotel London, United Kingdom (1990 – 1995). He also worked as sales and marketing manager at Sony Centre in the United Kingdom for 13 years. He demonstrated great capabilities in problem solving and decision making. He successfully contributed to the development of the brand image of Sony Centre UK. In addition to his valuable experience in marketing and management areas, Mr. Bennani has also proven great work experience in audio and video media production and advertising in both the United Kingdom and Morocco. Mr. Bennani’s valuable industry and academic experience has given him exceptional knowledge and professional capabilities that allow him to deliver an outstanding and rigorous content in the academic environments. He was one of the contributors of the book of the legend authors “Philip Kotler and Kevin Lane Keller” “Marketing Management” 15th Global Edition. Mr. Bennani’s current research interests include customer satisfaction, consumer behavior, sustainable marketing, sustainable consumption, branding, and advertising.
