He joined Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, in 1997, where he currently serves as Full Professor of Chemistry and Student Academic Affairs Coordinator. His areas of specialization include analytical and environmental chemistry, with research interests in advanced oxidation processes, the photodegradation of organic pollutants, chemical kinetics, water management, and chemistry education.
