Abdelmajid Hajji

Dr. Abdelmajid Hajji has been a part-time professor at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco since 2000. Before, he has taught and served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Research at Moulay Ismail University in Meknes. He was also Dean and English Department chair at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in the same university. His interests and teaching center around subjects such as Media and Film, International Communication, Conflict and Media, Media and Politics in the Middle East, and Peace and Conflict Resolution. Dr. Hajji obtained a PhD in Film and Communication from the University of Kansas, USA, and a Master’s Degree in Comparative Literature from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England. Dr. Hajji is a two-time Fulbright scholar, who also served as President of the Moroccan Fulbright Alumni Association (MFAA) for the period 2011-2013.
