He obtained his PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) from Heidelberg University in Germany. Dr. Aly established his own research lab as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Tulane University in New Orleans, USA.
Afterwards, he participated in the establishment of Beykoz Institute of Life Sciences and Biotechnology in Istanbul, and he helped to establish the Biotechnology graduate program at Bezmialem Foundation University in Istanbul, Turkey.
Dr. Aly’s has numerous publications in high impact journals with h-index that exceeds 17, in addition to 6 patents on novel vaccines.
