Dr. Khallaayoun earned a BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Montana State University. He Joined AUI in 2011. Dr. Khallaayoun's research interest relates the smart grid and grid connected systems with him currently focusing on E-mobility. While at AUI, Dr. Khallaayoun Ahmed co-established and co-managed the Center for Learning Excellence for 6 years. He also held multiple administrative positions, such as the coordinator for the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), and the First-Year Experience (FYE) program that he managed for more than 3 years.
