Dr. Amar is a professor of applied mathematics and data science in the School of Science and Engineering. He received his Bachelor degree (2006) in Operations Research, with Honors, from the Engineering School INSEA in Rabat, and both Master (2009) and Ph.D (2014) degrees, in statistics, from Mohamed V University in Rabat.
He is an expert in economics and data analysis and has worked with public and private sectors to develop relevant expertise in the field of public policy assessment, environment, and sustainable energy. His research interests include applied statistics, development economics, and risk management. He has done significant research work and published over top quality international conferences. His teaching interests include applied mathematics, probability & statistics, engineering economics, and decision theory.
