Asmae Khaldoun

Asmae Khaldoun is Professor and Lead of Science and Engineering at the School of Science and Engineering at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. She holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Amsterdam and a second Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University. She has been a visiting researcher at Columbia University and the University of Lisbon. She played a key role in developing AUI's Master's in Sustainable Energy Management.

Before joining AUI, She served as Project Leader at Avantium Technologies and Post Doc at the University of Amsterdam. Her research covers energy efficiency in buildings, bioclimatic construction materials, renewable energy, and sustainability. She has directed several internationally funded research projects. She is also active in community initiatives that promote sustainable practices and education.
