Before joining AUI, in parallel to his professional duties, he started an academic career as a lecturer in many private business schools in Casablanca.
Dr. Hicham SAFI-EDDINE is a distinguished professional with almost two decades of experience in the fields of Public Policy, Public Finance, Taxation, Accounting, and Business Law.
As a former Senior Tax Officer at the Casablanca-Settat Region Tax Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, he advised many Moroccan and foreign Constitutional Institutions.
He earned a Doctorate in Law from the University of “Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne” (2013). His academic journey also includes a Master of Research in "Sciences de Gestion", majoring in finance from the University of “Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand” (2007), an MBA degree majoring in management from Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane (2001), and a bachelor’s degree in finance from HEM Business School in Casablanca (1998).
Dr. Hicham SAFI-EDDINE has published a book in France on the legal and tax consequences of Bank Mergers & Acquisitions.
Dr. Hicham SAFI-EDDINE is also certified by the OECD in Tax Affairs, and the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) in International Trade and in Business Law also.
He is also certified by FONDAFIP (Association pour la Fondation internationale de Finances Publiques), led by Pr. Michel Bouvier, in Public Finance.
He is a Memoirist CPA at the French CPA Board.
Finally, Dr. Hicham SAFI-EDDINE is a father of one son.
