Dr. Hoda Khalafalla is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Al Akhawayn University. She earned her degree from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Dr. Khalafalla brings a unique blend of academic and industry expertise, with 10 years of experience in fintech as a Technical Product Manager and 13 years of university-level teaching experience. She joined Al Akhawayn University in September 2025. Throughout her career, she has developed and taught courses in applied software engineering, product management, and software development, with a strong emphasis on bridging theoretical foundations with real-world industry applications. Dr. Khalafalla is committed to experiential learning and regularly invites industry experts as guest lecturers to enrich her students' understanding of contemporary technology challenges.
