Kevin Smith has been teaching Computer Science since 1991, and has been at Al Akhawayn since 1996. He is interested in Human Computer Interaction, Design Thinking, and how High Performance Computing and Cloud Computing intersect with both. He is also a Computer Science Program Evaluator for ABET, as well as a member of the Computing Accreditation Commission. At AUI, he has worked in administrative positions, including as Coordinator of Computer Science, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering, and Associate Vice President for Liberal Arts of the 21st Century.
