Mohamed Azzouz

Mohamed Azzouz is a physics full professor at the School of Science and Engineering at Al Akhawayn University. He accumulated an almost 30-year experience in teaching, research, and administration work in Canada and Morocco. He teaches several courses ranging from first year to higher levels in physics and engineering. His research consists of investigating the electronic and magnetic properties of materials, such as high-temperature superconductors, photovoltaic materials, and the so-called quantum antiferromagnets. He also carried research work in modelling forest spatio-temporal dynamics in Forestry. He published more than 30 refereed publications, many of which were in renowned journals like the Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, Physica C, and the Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter.
