School - School of Science and Engineering Employment Status - Full-Time Office - Office 206, Building 8b Office hours - MWF 1:55 – 2:55PM / 3:55 PM – 4:55PM/ 6 PM – 7PM (or by appointment another time) Office extension - 2372Moulay El Hassan El Azhari received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Sacramento, in 2005 and 2008, respectively, the M.S. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Quebec in Outaouais in 2020. He worked as an electrical engineer in the R&D department of Motion Control Engineering from 2007 to 2011 and at Meglab, Inc. from 2016 to 2020. He also served as a researcher at the Telebec Underground Communications Research Laboratory from 2013 to 2020. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Al Akhawayn University, School of Science and Engineering, Morocco.
His teaching interests include microcontrollers, power electronics, FPGA design, digital design, electrical circuits, industrial robotics, telecommunications, and related areas of electrical and electronics engineering and mechatronics. His research interests include mechatronics and robotics, robotic manipulators, embedded systems, intelligent agricultural and autonomous robotic systems, wireless communications, radio-wave propagation, and multiple-input multiple-output systems.
