He also served as IT Manager (2005 - 2009) and later as IT Director (2009 - 2012) at the same institution. Beyond academia, Dr. Iraqi is an IT and Cybersecurity Senior Consultant, Lead Auditor, and Trainer, having contributed expertise to major projects, including those with the World Bank. He holds an Ingénieur d'État degree from Ecole Mohammadia d'Ingénieurs in Rabat, an MSc in Computer Networks from Al Akhawayn University (2003), and a PhD in Computer Science from Mohammed V University in Rabat (2022). His research interests include collaborative self-protecting software, unsupervised machine learning, and application-level intrusion detection. Dr. Iraqi is also a certified professional, holding CISSP, CISA, ISO 20000, and ISO 27000 credentials.
