Dr. Yassir Rabhi is an Assistant Professor at Al Akhawayn University (AUI). He earned a PhD in Statistics from McGill University (Canada) and previously held assistant professor positions in Statistics & Data Science at the State University of New York (USA) from 2018 to 2020, and at the University of Essex (UK) from 2020 to 2026. His research spans several areas of data science and statistics, including applied machine learning, mixture cure models, extremile regression, copulas, and survival analysis. He is particularly interested in developing methodologies and theories for statistical models that tackle incomplete data mechanisms, such as biased selection, informative censoring, and missing data.
