At the Writing Center, tutors and tutees work together to unlock their full writing potential.

As part of AUI’s Center for Learning Excellence, certified tutors use the Socratic Methodology to assist peers on all levels across disciplines to hone their academic writing skills.

Students are invited to utilize these resources in order to sharpen each other's mindsets when it comes to succeeding with composition projects at any stage or caliber.

Appointments

The Writing Center at Building 07, Room 115 offers students the chance to receive personalized feedback on their writing and composition.

Walk-in hours occur each semester, giving students an opportunity to come in without having made a prior appointment for additional help with their writing needs.

The tutoring sessions last for an hour and can be booked from:

  • Monday through Friday from 9:00 - 22:00
  • Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 – 17:00
