Create, promote and support socio-educational projects

Established in 2002 by Al Akhawayn University following a donation from Saudi Prince Abdelaziz Iben Fahd, the Centre dʼAzrou pour le Développement Communautaire (CADC) is a socially-oriented institution that reports to Al Akhawayn University and therefore seeks sponsorship and partnership to fund its various projects.

Our vision

To create, promote, and support socio-educational projects: technical and vocational training, education, and health services for its target population, including young graduates seeking employment, illiterate men and women, and students at risk of dropping out of school. This makes the Center a reference in the province of Ifrane through training programs that foster socio-economic inclusion while upholding its core values.

The mission of the Azrou Center for Community Development is to contribute, within an ethical, creative, and productive environment, to improving the socio-economic living conditions of the population in the province of Ifrane and the Middle Atlas through socio-educational, professional, and medical programs.

1- Ethics and Integrity: Ethics at the Center reflect a true awareness by each team member of their own responsibility and the purpose of their actions. Everyone at the Center acts with honesty, objectivity, and a strong sense of responsibility toward others, including partners and beneficiaries. Their actions are guided by high ethical standards.

2- Commitment: The Center is dedicated to supporting its target population to improve their living conditions within the province of Ifrane.

3- Transparency and Plurality: The Center operates independently of cultural, religious, and political differences, working with a variety of institutions and local, national, and international partners. It upholds transparency with all stakeholders involved in its projects, including donors, partners, target populations, and beneficiaries.

4- Socio-professional Integration: For the Azrou Center, integrating the target population into the social and solidarity economy is a core focus.

5- Sustainability: The Center ensures that its projects and programs are socially sustainable by implementing them across three key areas: socio-educational, professional, and medical.

Our Ambitions

Ambitions

Serve the maximum number of needy people in the province of Ifrane and the Middle Atlas as best as possible:

• Contribute to the integration of young graduates seeking employment into the professional world through targeted qualifying training;
• Literacy and assist women and young girls to achieve financial autonomy;
• Combat school dropout and encourage integration into the educational system and professional training;
• Improve the level of underprivileged students with effective tutoring;
• Consolidate the technical and linguistic skills of the target population and strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit of project initiators through rational support;
• Contribute to the improvement of the health conditions of the target population (women, young girls, children...).

• Provide literacy, training, information, and awareness programs for women in the province of Ifrane
• Contribute to combating school dropout in the province of Ifrane
• Improve the educational level of underprivileged students and encourage excellence

• Contribute to improving the health of the population
