 The Human Resources & Administration department invites internal  (permanent-full-time staff members) and external applicants for the position of Warehouse Keeper

Reporting Line: Stock Controller.
 
Position Description Summary: 
The warehouse keeper is responsible for all the flows in and out of the warehouse.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • To record the quantity, type, and value of material, equipment and supplies stocked in the warehouse.
  • To initiate requests for replenishment in order to avoid shortage of supplies.
  • To receive, check, count, store, and record data on the computer (software in place).
  • To issue supplies, tools, equipment and other articles to users, make sure that forms are duly signed and updated data on the computer.
  • To process regular physical count of stock and compare it with recorded data including the annual inventory.
  • To organize supplies in the warehouse including identification of items and respect of safety and security measures.
  • To receive, check and deliver suppliers’ items (logistics).
  • To deliver supplies to requesting departments.
  • Handle all related stock operations and avoid any discrepancy (Physical vs Theoretical).
  • Report to the stock controller for any discrepancy, incident, or any service improvement in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Basic knowledge of stock management and physical inventory techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene, security, and safety regulations related to the storage of hazardous material and products.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Education required: baccalaureate or equivalent.
  • Experience preferred: 1- or 2-years’ experience in a related position.
Personal and Behavioral characteristics / IT skills
  •  Ability to be organized and methodical.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees/end users.
  • Being honest and ethical.
