Al Akhawayn University is proud to host the third edition of the AI Summer School, a flagship event gathering students, researchers, and professionals from Morocco and beyond to explore the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence. This year’s edition, held under the theme "Responsible AI: Designing with Security, Fairness, and Impact," focuses on the ethical and societal implications of AI technologies.
Over the course of five days, participants will engage in a rich program that combines thought leadership, hands-on learning, and community building:

Day 1: Foundations of Responsible AI & Hackathon Kick-off
The event opens with a keynote and expert talks to set the stage for understanding the principles of ethical, transparent, and accountable AI systems. -
Day 2: Building Secure & Trustworthy AI
This day focuses on AI and cybersecurity, emphasizing how to design systems that are resilient, safe, and trustworthy. -
Day 3: Women in AI: Leadership, Equity & Fairness
In collaboration with leading women-in-tech organizations, this day celebrates and amplifies the voices of women in AI, addressing topics of inclusion, bias, and equity in the tech industry. -
Day 4: AI for Social Impact & Public Good
This session highlights the transformative power of AI in fields such as public policy, NGO work, and social development, with a spotlight on real-world applications that serve the public interest. -
Day 5: Hackathon Presentations, Awards & Closing Ceremony
The event concludes with final project pitches, showcasing innovative ideas developed during the week-long hackathon, followed by an awards ceremony and closing remarks.
