Office - Bldg 10, room 11 Office hours - T Th, 09am-01pm Office extension -| Marcelo earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2013). He also holds a master’s degree in history from Universidade de São Paulo (2017) and a Ph.D. in history from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2023). He has published several book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals revolving around the history of right-wing movements and regimes in Brazil, as well as the history of Brazilian foreign policy in the Afro-Asian world. His experience working in Brazilian, Pakistani, and Moroccan universities allowed him to design and teach courses in areas such as Brazilian history, Latin American history, South Asian history, world history, Arab history, history of international relations, history and politics of the global south, and Latin American-Arab relations |
