
Nikolaos Kalogeropoulos

After a BS in the University of Athens, Greece, he got a PhD from Syracuse University, in NY, USA. He then held several professorial positions in Colleges and Universities in the US and Canada, culminating with him getting tenured by the City University of New York in 2008. He subsequently moved in 2010 to the Middle East where he taught at US style Universities in Qatar and Iraq.
He joined AUI in January 2025. "Nick" has been teaching, at the University level, Physics and Mathematics courses since 1989. His research interests are in the applications of Pure Mathematics (mostly Geometry in all its flavors, Algebraic Topology and Analysis) to Physics, and in particular to Field Theory, Statistical Mechanics and Gravitation.
